Since 1990, Ron has performed for corporations across the country and has made the experience unique, fun and best of all--a CLEAN corporate show that is appropriate for all audiences! Once a show is booked, Ron springs into action and sends a questionnaire to the company so Ron can write customized material and songs for that particular show. Ron's corporate show is an energetic, musical comedy experience that tailors material and music toward the company and the people attending the event.
The show is broken down into three parts:
-
Comedy A Cappella
-
Customized Material with Audience Participation
-
Stand-Up Comedy!
First, Ron brings his up-tempo songs and contemporary favorites as well as classics to each show for a foot-tapping musical experience. Songs like "Oh What a Night," "Brick House," "Celebration," a unique medley of Jim Croce songs, a medley of impressions to include Nat King Cole (and Natalie too!), Neil Diamond, Willie Nelson and Julio Iglesias, a special appearance from Kermit the Frog and Joe Cocker.
There are also hilarious songs and parodies like "The Home Depot Song," "A Day in the Life," "Scream!" and "Kosher Ham." Secondly, Ron investigates each corporation thoroughly and gathers as much information possible to write special material and songs for each show. He then uses this material along with audience participation surprising corporate audiences with researched information and comedy in an unforgettable fashion.
Finally, Ron's clean stand-up comedy is scattered throughout the show incorporating material about music including more impressions, relationships (especially his loving wife) and jokes that every audience can identify with. Ron makes every effort to insure that your Corporate Show or Holiday Event is a memorable and unique musical-comedy experience.
Ron Feingold has been on stage since age 10. He got his musical theatre start in high school portraying roles like Lazar Wolf in "Fiddler on the Roof," Moonface Martin in "Anything Goes," and Curly in the musical "Oklahoma!" Then, at age 17, he began his professional career performing in a melodrama theatre by the name of "Bob Young's Cabaret" located in beautiful Cascade, Colorado. Ron was on top of the world earning $150 a week performing in the show and doing what he loved most!
Ron then moved on to dinner theatre in the summers during his breaks from college at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. There was a distinct trend that he noticed over the years that all of his roles and jobs were mostly comical. So Ron decided to give Stand-up Comedy a try. A contest called the U.S. College Comedy Competition came to Colorado State and Ron signed up. For a first timer, he placed third and he's been hooked on laughs ever since!
While a performer in the dinner theatre, Ron was also working on his other passions. He earned his Private Pilot license at the age of 18. Graduating in the top 10% of his class from Colorado State University with a degree in Psychology, Ron received the academic honor of Phi Beta Kappa! In May of 1999, Ron received his Masters Degree in Guidance and Counseling and spent a year as a Guidance Counselor while he worked on his second CD- "Solo Effort." He also loves water and snow skiing, writing poetry and music, and most of all performing his "Comedy A Cappella" show!
Now Ron has toured the entire United States and has performed in America's finest Comedy Clubs, Universities, and Theatres. After doing "straight" stand-up for 5 years, he decided to stir things up a little and bring his love for a cappella music to the comedy clubs. August 1st of 1995, at Tommy T's Comedy Club in San Ramon, California was opening night of the new show and audiences have been laughing and singing with Ron ever since!
Ron's first album was released in June of 1995 and was called One Man A Cappella Jam! Ron began work on his second album on December 30, 1999 with producer Glenn Longacre. Released on January 26, 2001, Solo Effort takes Ron's music to a different level. Using contemporary favorites and up-tempo classics to create an a cappella recording that is unique and fun to listen to.
Currently, Ron is a corporate and cruise ship entertainer residing in Florida and also performs at his favorite comedy clubs around the country. Check out the show because you won't see or hear anything like this anywhere!
