He is one of the nation's premier interest rate forecasters and investment advisors, providing insights to economic, financial and investment matters through his own consulting firm.

Dr. Genetski uses humor and anecdotes to present economic concepts in terms that everyone can readily understand.  Genetski was named one of the top 5 speakers in Economics/Finance and was mentioned in Association Meeting Magazine as one of the 40 hottest speakers in 2010.  He is noted in Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who in Finance and Industry.

Genetski is one of the nation’s premier interest rate forecasters and investment advisors.  He provides insights to economic, financial and investment matters as the head of his own consulting firm and at his website—classicalprinciples.com.  On two occasions he was recognized as the number one interest rate forecaster in the country.  

Genetski has taught economics at the University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business and New York University and is a former Senior Vice President and Chief Economist of a major Midwest Bank.

During the course of his career Genetski has headed asset management, investment research, and investment banking operations.  He has also served on the Board of Directors for several public companies.  

Genetski has authored several books and numerous articles. He authored Taking the Voodoo Out of Economics, an influential book that anticipated and shaped many of the major policy changes that are now occurring throughout the world. In his book, A Nation of Millionaires, Dr. Genetski provides his vision of the changes in government policies that will shape the economic and financial landscape in the 21st century.  His upcoming book entitled Classical Economic Principles & the Wealth of Nations, describes the economic policies that produce wealthy nations.

Genetski earned his Ph.D. in economics from New York University and writes a regular column for the Nikkei Financial Daily, Japan’s leading business newspaper.

PRESENTATION TOPICS:

"Economic and Financial Outlook"
Robert presents his latest forecast in the context of classical economic principles. These principles focus on the importance of low taxes, free markets, property rights and price stability for economic prosperity. After discussing the importance of these principles, Robert explains how the computer chip, telecommunications revolution and the spread of democracy around the world are forcing policymakers to adopt classical principles. With a presentation sprinkled with humor, Genetski explains the implications of recent policy changes for interest rates, stock prices and the economic landscape that lies ahead.

"Stock Market Analysis"
Dr. Genetski explains how to determine what stocks are worth. This analysis enabled Dr. Genetski to conclude in 1989 that the Japanese stock market was a "classic case of a speculative bubble waiting to burst." Although many observers have reached the same conclusion about the US stock market, Robert disagrees. Since the early 1990's, he has been forecasting record-breaking stock prices well into the future. In addition to his fundamental analysis, Genetski also presents some unique insights in to understanding short-term psychological moves in the stock market and how to anticipate them.

"How to Create a Nation of Millionaires"
This presentation is based on Dr. Genetski's latest book. This is a fascinating presentation that focuses on the policy changes that would turn the lowest paid worker into a millionaire (in terms of today's buying power.) As strange as this may seem, Genetski documents a wide number of research studies to show how shifting tasks from government bureaucracies to the free market involves sufficient savings to turn minimum wage workers into millionaires.

"Global Economic Outlook"
Robert uses his classical economic framework to analyze global economic trends. In a speech in East Berlin in the fall of 1997, Dr. Genetski explained the often-overlooked origin of Asia's economic collapse (several years of 20 percent increases in the money supplies of Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and South Korea). He boldly told the audience that the US and Europe would continue to prosper in spite of Asia's problems. Genetski has been an outspoken critic of Japan's economic policies, claiming that higher taxes and increases in government spending moved the country away from classical principles.
