David Strom
He has taught full day classes on eCommerce and Web site strategies
around the world, and done so long before they have become the fashionable terms of the day. He has presented keynotes and led panel discussions at computer conferences in front of audiences large and
small. He also facilitates intensive small discussion groups for his
private consulting clients such as Oracle, Microsoft, and Novell.
He is a prolific writer who is the author of two computer books and has
written thousands of magazine articles for various technical and
business publications, including the New York Times and Wired magazine. He has appeared on the Fox TV News Network, NPR's Science
Friday radio program, ABC-TV's World News Tonight and CBS-TV's Up to
the Minute news broadcasts as a computer expert.
Before starting his own speaking business, Mr. Strom held various roles
in print and online editorial management. In 1990, he created Network
Computing magazine and was the magazine's first editor-in-chief. He
also was the editor-in-chief for Tom's Guides Publishing and has
created dozens of technical Web sites over the past ten years on
computer and networking topics for Information Technology professionals.
